For those of you who have inquiring minds and just gotta know….  here is the story regarding the tattoos…..

When I was 15 and thought I was in love with the love of my entire life…I decided to make a bold statement and tattoo his initials on my hand….well we did a rather large K on his arm and we did a small R on my hand….then we broke up…..I began to really miss him and I guess he found the secret to flipping the switch….apparently he wiped me off the face of the planet…I did not exist in his world any longer…mind you I did not cheat on him or anything..he asked me not to go somewhere with someone and I did ( a trip to the store) and he said if you go it is over…huh??? Well I guess in a way its good I got out of that relationship because I was not marriage material obviously….at 15 …and that was a bit harsh…anyway I dont know if it was because he refused to have anything to do with me that it began to really bother me. Because I really started to pine for him….I dreamt about him and tried to be wherever he was goig to be…I know…stoopid!!! But young and stoopid seem to go together…sorry kids…but so does old and stoopid….sorry folks….Anyway!! I was so desperate to win him back (which by the way was a whole year later) when I decided to add his last name initial to the R. I guess I thought that would impress him??!!So then I had an older looking R and a fresh A sitting right next to it…A year later he married my best friend’s sister and she had him remove the K. SIGH…..I gave up….but I still dreamt about him for the longest time…. So that is the saga of Roger Ames and my broken heart and the permanent tattoo to go along with it. Now the other tattoo is just the Virgo sign since I was born in September . Oh by the way I did .the tattoos myself….so they are really deep….one day I hope to get them off. I heard somewhere they will take them off for free if they are “gang tats” think I could change my story and make Roger a gangster and me his mob girl? naaaaaaaaaaah.

Personally I am REALLY REALLY glad it didnt work out….with Roger….Mark is my dream man….

    Love Kerri

  • And here all these years I thought it stood for “Right Arm”…

  • ^^^^That was a good comment!  I had to take a double look yesterday and say, “Is that a tattoo?”  Thanks for the history…. thank goodness, you didn’t get R.A. ~ Mr. Lydell is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better!  My connection cut-off yesterday when I was visiting, thus….no comment…. That link to that video re: the kids was reallllly neat. I have to see it again…. Blessings ~Carolyn

  • Oh well, it’s a reminder not to be stupid any more, to think before you do:) Seriously, though, if you really do want to get it off, I hope you find a way to do it.  Love the comment from your husband, though:)  Gerrie

  • ROFL…I love your hubbys comment.

    Have a blessed day!

  • Thanks for sharing your story!  I enjoyed it…Well, we all have marks that signify our past experiences, don’t we…YEs, some more visible than others, but they tell a story.  The story I read from your precious life can be reduced to one marvelous statement…JEsus lives in Kerri’s heart and flows from her life!  And just think, our Lord has a tattoo, too…click here–Love ya bunches and am praying for you and yours, Paula

  • RA=right arm– funny! Other hand? – LA? Neat story! And amen to all that Paula stated above. (& I love that verse!) Have a great week, Kerri &  Mark (aka – dream couple!)

  • I’ll be back to read your story but I just got in and saw your “How do I (you) set yourself apart.”

I always like it when there is some really off the wall thing that keeps appearing in all the pics.Like a little dancing leprechan. This is a photoshop thingy of course, and there are much better ideas than leprechans,I would think.Maybe not??!! Anyways, you’ll have many books,I just thought I’d throw that in early.

Actually, the type of “addition” should be recognized instantly by the age group the coffee book is aimed at,obviously.

  • That’s right!

I’m so glad it didn’t work out with the girl I was in love with too.  She would have drug me down so much spiritually.  She hurt me really bad.  She ripped my heart out of my chest and smashed in the ground right in front of me.  It took me years to get over it.  I still have not had a girlfriend since her to this day.  I guess I’m a little too careful now, but I’m just waiting on God’s timing.  I forgave her and  I still love her like a sister, and she knows it, but we will never be a couple again.

    God is good!!!

  • ryc;Absolutely glorified magazines, but you’ll have sold a million before the protest groups get organized.

I’m sorry, maybe the idea of money disgusts you.You do charge for those beautiful packages you put together, don’t you?? :-p

  • Hey, checking in, seeing how your doing! Interesting story about the tatoo..I never got one, too chicken!!!!!!! My hubby has two he’d love to get rid of….maybe some day?

  • thanks for satisfying my inquiring mind!!! great sad story!!! your hubbys comment up there is too funny , right arm, lol

  • Right Arm is a good one lol…your sad story kinda reminds me of myself during my teen years, ignorant, selfish & controlling.  I’m sure glad I lost that dude a long…long…long time ago.

I’m also glad to say that the the young lady I treated so unfairly in those early years is still by my side. Praise God!!!
