Hey we finished up editing and uploading the school pictures what fun that was!! Great kids small private school so it wasnt a big deal…but just right for us right now. On Thursday our Lindsay will be doing a dance recital…so we will get shots of that…and then on Friday we are doing a senior portrait of our friend’s daughter and we will be doing outside and inside. The inside shoot will be at her dance studio so we will be getting some ballet pics!
Sorry we have been a bit awol this week…it is Mark’s (my husbands) birthday on Wed. So we have been busy trying to get some stuff done…we are in the midst of cleaning out our garage right now to turn into our studio. We cannot justify renting a place downtown (as quaint as our downtown is) at this stage of the game…thanks to our good friend Crystal she has started a “fire” or as they say in her neck of the woods a “far”….. under us!! Our other friend Robin who has been such a great friend to us and we only recently met her and on Xanga too! Click here to go visit her she makes the best collages and she is a seasoned photographer!!!!! She knows what she is doing!!!! She should have a studio for sure!!! She just got back from Yosemite and I hope she will put up some of that soon…
Well I am off to sort through more junk while it is still relatively cool out this morning it wont stay that way long so I better start making hay!!!

Hey, girl! You guys are rockin! Can’t wait to see the pics from the rest of the week! I encourage you guys to really push yourselves with the ballet shots! they will turn out beautifully!
I’m humbled to know I have lit a “far” in you guys! haha!! it’s so nice to know that God is using me to inspire other. I love it! You guys have done so much, and it’s awesome to know that you aren’t going to allow yourselves to plateau!

Thanks Kerri I really appreciate the props. I keep remembering what you said on the phone yesterday and it helps. I really want to get the Yosemite pics up, but there is so much emotion behind them right now and I can’t decide which ones. Hey Mark HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Is someone shooting your birthday party?

We did put the flooring in our studio. Or……we hired it done, anyways. It’s not real hardwood. We saved money and went with Pergo laminate flooring.
It still looks great, and so many people comment about it. But if the floor underneath wasn’t so ridiculously ghetto and uneven, I would have had that concrete stuff done where they can make it look like tile or marble or whatever you want. That is just soooo neat!!! Because your options are limitless!!!!!
