Beautiful Dancer!!
Today Kerri and I had so much fun taking pictures of Greta – a godly young woman who loves to dance. I’m still editing the pictures, but while we were shooting, our daughter Lindsay was making sure everything was documented as she was busy getting shots of us taking shots. (Is that like a photographic multiple personality? just wondering…)
Anyway, you’ll have to wait for the final shots of Greta – we went to her dance studio, and then to their house for some great outdoor shots. I hope to have them edited and ready to post by the middle of next week. I’m catching up on a couple other jobs first, but I have to get the decks cleared for a cool wedding next weekend with our friend Robin Michellini – it is going to be a blast!! But, I digress…

these are cool. i like the second one of your husband taking the picture of the dancer…and the way your daughter caught him….it’s neat
I like them all, but my favorite is the one with Greta and Mark both on the floor, but the neat part is Kelly caught the image of them both in the mirror, too. God bless your weekend:) Gerrie

Wow—beautiful pictures and thank you for posting them. Ive never seen photographers “work” because I am entirely self taught and have taught everything I know myself on my own. It was very interesting to see you use that white reflector or diffuser on a handle. Where did you get that? I’d like to order the stand and diffuser and get it before my wedding in a week and half! I’ll ORDER it tonight!!!!
I have never seen a reflector being used like that—-so it was very helpful. Thank you so much or rather bless your dear daughter for taking those photos of how you both work.

Also did you bring the step stool and the black drape? Did you put up the black drape for a reason? Just curious. I also see a black stand or something while she’s doing a split. Is that something you purchased? If so, where did you get it?

It’s been rough………..please keep us in your prayers. We just don’t know what to do about the studio. Trying to figure it all out……Its a mess.

That is “Wags”, my grand-dog. He is part Lab and part Bassett Hound, so he has
the body of a lab and the short legs of a Bassett. Everyone turns and
looks twice at him. hahaa He only weighs 69 lbs. My son and his wife
are getting a divorce and I “inherited” the dog. This is his first offical week
to live with me.
