Stunning!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of your best work!!!!!! I have a very dear friend whose daughter is a ballerina. I wrote an Easter production several years ago and her daughter did an interpretative dance during it a portion of it…And so, dance has a very special place in my heart. This young lady that you photographed is so graceful and beautiful and you captured that so well! And that music is awesome…I am not familiar with that song, but I loved it! Thank you for asking about me. We are struggling, but we are getting by. I delivered the letters and questionaires to the surrounding businesses yesterday and today. Most everyone thinks it is a great idea to try to get some changes made. There were only a couple of well-established businesses that said they didn’t want to be a part of it. They’re afraid they will make some people in the city mad……….sounds a little silly to me, but it’s their choice. As for the studio…….it stinks of mildew and mold. The floors will have to be pulled out soon. Jeremy and I are weighing all of our options. We are considering the possibility of getting out of our lease and saving up over the next 6 months or so and finding a new location. We honestly just don’t know what to do and are trying to seek God’s guidance through all of this. We have some very difficult decisions to make over the next couple of weeks. Please continue to pray for us – that we may keep a positive attitude and that we have wisdom. I’ve definitely been struggling emotionally over the past two days. I’ve had several breakdowns, but I’m getting by.
The good news is it looks like I may book three new weddings this week. That will help us a TON!

Beautiful…I love the work. You truly displayed the beauty of the dancer through your shots. However, I would leave out some of the shots with the refelctor showing (One with the shaded photographer is a great image, the others are rather distracting and take away from the dancer.) Just a thought….
That’s a beautiful show and very intimate. Makes me wish I was more graceful!
Jennifer – thanks for the post!! One of the reasons we left those shots in is that many people like a “behind the scenes” feel when they look at their slideshow. They wouldnt be pictures we would anticipate people would order, but for slideshow purposes it lets you feel like you were there at the shoot, peeking in on what was happening.

So tell I have one question , how come there werent any action shots, like her spinning or jumping or something?? I would have loved to see something like that in there too. Not that I didnt think it was fantastic just the way it was. You know what I mean>??? I loved it!!! And that big white thing? that was one of your lighting instruments??? Not what I would have pictured. lol

Yeah it’s usually cooler up here.
The song really seemed to match the moves, the poses, the facial expressions. What a beautiful, graceful dancer. I loved them all, but the ones of Greta in her black dress were positively wonderful – I like the way that they seemed to bring out her color more. Great job! ~ Carolyn
