Today I am posting a Good-Bye for my long time friend

    Lori

    (Jamens Grandma)

     Lori - Jamens Grandma

She is moving from Xanga. I know many of you are sad to see her go as well. She has been known as a Motherly and even a Grandmotherly influence in many lives…she has been a consistent, thoughtful, loving witness for the Lord and His Kindgdom work. She has diligently sought out birthdays so as to always make people feel that they mattered and probably if not for her would never had a birthday wish on their day! It will be a sad day on Monday for many people…

Lori if you read this …you have blessed many lives, mine included. Only you could say and be the voice in the wilderness for Jesus. You were hand chosen to do what you have done. Now that you have been released into a new season. I know you will find the next assignment just as rewarding. May you still find time to email us or check in with us from time to time…

It was a comfort to me to know some nights I was up with insomnia that you were out there awake too…not that I wish that on any one but I did feel like someone else understood the aches and  pains of Fibromyalgia and the fatigue that insomnia brings the next day…I do know that when we see each other in heaven we will have new bodies and probably wont even remember the stupid words of our disease!

I love you and will miss you and your family esp. your grandkids!!!!!

    Love Kerri

  • Well said, Kerri! :goodjob: Lori is a precious friend that none of us wants to see leave Xanga. But we also know that God does move His servants from one mission to another, and so yes, God will bless her in her next venture. Beautiful tribute! Amen! :heartbeat: Love U2! ~ Carolyn :love:

  • i didn’t know her ….but i did read her journals and was always impressed with her love for others.  Great tribute Kerri!   What is this about not trusting a woman in a big furry pink robe??? I am sitting in one at this moment.  I only bought it a couple of weeks ago..thought i would do something DIFFERENT.  Did i make a mistake????  LOL   Kerri, i miss you.   Sara

  • Hey Kerri………….I know i will miss Lori too.  That was such a great tribute to her.  If you hear any news from her, share if you would.  I hope you all have a great week.  Loves ya……..Kimi

  • Awesome, well wish her a happy b-day, I will most-likely not be able to make it this week… my other three bachelor friends and I are planning on hitting the lake or the river or some-such-thing friday night through sat… whether or not that happens is in question, but we’ll end up doing something in its stead… in Peace and God Bless.

    - Joshua

ps: we had to run a de-humidifier and drying fans all last night, meanwhile keeping all the windows closed, I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse case of cotton-mouth hehe

  • Kerri, that was such a nice tribute to Your Friend!

    God Bless…….
