Thank you for all your support and encouragement on our wedding slideshow!
We are so thankful for the opportunity to capture people’s weddings. We know in our heads that over 50 % will end up in divorce but, we pray in our hearts for each one that they will make it last for as long as they both shall live. We are all witnesses to their vows as we come together to watch the union of two people becoming one. It is quite a miracle. The wedding we just did touched me alot maybe because they played a celtic song that is near and dear to my heart. Try taking pictures when your eyes are welling up! Especially the ceremony ones that you dont want to miss! ha!
So…our next job is a Jewish wedding with Robin in SF. That is going to be awesome. We have taken steps to deal with the lighting issues we had with the Rodriquez wedding. We ordered a Q Flash and it is expected to come today!!! Yay!! A new toy and andexpensive one!!! 0_0 but so worth it!
We are also sittiing on the edge of our seats for the UPS man for another package today, too. Our Rhodes Family order is due today. It is a BIG order so we are excited to see the photos. They ordered 34 StoryBoards which are 20×30 in size and mounted on masonite. They have anywhere from 3 to 5 pictures on there which kinda tell a story. Thank God they have a big house to put all these pictures! And we thank God for the job! It has been our biggest order yet!
It is gonna be fun opening everything up!
I leave you with one of the storyboard photographs so you can see what they look like! This was taken after the photoshoot was done and the kids were just playing around but I kept snapping because first of all they are very beautiful kids and second they were just having too much fun not to keep shooting!

Love, Kerri

Too cute:) God bless you as you go, it’s so cool that you pray for each couple as you shoot their wedding! They have no idea what a blessing that is for them. Maybe a few do. Keep having fun! Gerrie
:wave:I came by way of Insomniacafe64, Debi. You have a beautiful site and I thoroughly enjoyed your photos!:goodjob: Thanks for sharing them with amateurs like me.
Looking forward to new developments!:giggle:

Great photos——I am going to check out the Wedding!
Kerri,it is thoughtful, passionate moves, like shooting long after the wedding is over, that will endear you even moreso in the hearts of your clients. Amazing! btw, what was the Celtic song?
Ryc; I haven’t got there yet, but my interest is piqued regarding that passiondove post. As I hinted at earlier, I find you an excellent “post” to measure myself against. Miles behind you, but that means there’s lots of room for improvement,eh?
Peace Scott
Kerri and Mark, it’s been awhile since we’ve commented on each other’s sites, but Kerri, you used to come by and leave notes for my friends and I in Orlando, and I’ve missed you lately! I know you are both busy with the business, and I wish you the best with it. I’ve been stopping by periodically to see your work, and I have to tell you, after just having seen the wedding slideshow–it is truly your best work yet! I wished I could save some photos from the slideshow as a reference for my wedding some day…there were some I absolutely fell in love with. I may have to ask you to come to Florida and do mine when the time comes! Your work is amazing. Working at a local photo studio since 2003, I’ve come to learn more about photography and appreciate the truly good shots even more. The only downside–I’ve become much more anal about my own photo-taking, and the pictures people take of me! I guess it comes with the territory. Thanks for sharing your work with us, and may you continue to be blessed! Love,
Karen
Sad, but so true. My son is very happily married and my daugher is not. 50/50 you’re right.
I love coming by and looking at your photos. I have to agree with Karen, that last wedding was my absolute favorite so far. Anxious to see the next one though.
Blessings,
Paula

Hi Kerri; As I’m heading out on holidays,I wanted to let you know I stopped in to read the story you linked me to at your friend Paula’s site. She is a wonderful writer, judging from that post. And I can see how it spoke to you.
The passiondove post will unfortunately have to wait as I have a 6 to 7 hour drive before I can help coax out my nephew-to-be.
I’m gone for a bit but I’ll be checking in with a post regarding n-t-b.I remember you writing that you were checking up on their progress, which is nice.
Just be Kerri, for that is all good.
Peace Scott
I always get excited to see the orders come in! It’s almost like the completion of your vision. Seeing your images on the monitor is nice but there’s something about holding them in your hands that make it real…!! ~ Dawn
Great images on storyboarding, I especially love the ones at the end of the story that you took of the kids at the end of the day.
