Nick & Sarai are married!!
EDIT (by Mark) : Nick and Sarai were such a neat couple. It was an honor to be part of their wedding. I’m so excited to show you the pics. Can’t wait!! (So pray for me tonight that I don’t get too tired!)
We have a “few” pics to sort through, but I hope to have a slideshow up soon. Watch here for it! It was such a blast to be shooting this wedding as a family!! Not only were Kerri and I shooting, but Lindsay and Brian also shot! They got some great pics, and they will definitly have images in the final cut – what a great family business!
Nick and Sarai are married now…May God bless them and may they have a long and happy marriage! What a fun wedding it was too! We knew quite a few of the people there so that made it really special for us. The Mother of the Bride was a dear friend and one of my prayer partners for many years. We would meet once a week for prayer and we would start out right after the kids went to school and stop right before they finished. We were intercessors for our church and God gifted us with the ability to pray all day like that. The other gal that was part of that group was there too! But guess what we didnt even get our picture taken together!! Mother of the Bride moved to Washington State recently and so that really would have been a special shot to have!
We are so exhausted! We took way too many pictures! 4 photographers who knows how many Gigs we used! Poor Mark is going to go bananas trying to get this job done! We have 6 days before our next weddding so hopefully we will have it all boiled down to the best of the best and put a slideshow together by then. The temperature was 103 it was an outdoor wedding so that makes it that much more taxing on us. It was a large venue as well. Lots of acreage to traipse across to get from one place to another. I went barefoot all day! The one thing that didnt hurt when we got home at 11:45 pm was my feet! haha….my back hurt so bad that I immediately went downstairs and got into my back massage chair (my Mother’s Day gift!) Just as I got in tho I felt a piercing sensation in my right foot and almost immediately blood began dripping off my foot! Mark came down and saw that I had stepped on a sharp piece of metal. We are having alot of electical work done in the studio so it must have been tracked in and I unwittingly sliced my foot on it. Was barefoot all day and didnt hurt myself once and I come home and got sliced within 2 minutes! They do say more people get hurt in and around the home more often than elsewhere…I guess so!
I cant wait to see all that we got…the bride…Sarai….is a beautiful girl as you will see. She reminds me sooo much of a blonde Julia Roberts. Her husband Nick is a great guy and they are sooo in love…I really pray for a long and happy life together and that God would be at the center of it…
If you want to see their engagement slideshow look on the left side of this site and click Lydell Photography and you will see a slideshow link at the top when you get there just click Nick and Sarai Engagement…and you will see the lovely couple….gosh it seems like forever since we had those done! We have come a long way since then…I hope! lol. But I do love them…they were our first engagement couple. I also believe those were straight out of the camera without any touchips or actions or anything….but I better double check with Mark on that… Uh…oh…. I am not sure where that slideshow is but I will find out and make sure it gets up there for you to see…
I am up a bit early today wondering if I should go to the gym before we head to church but I am sooo tired I just cant get it together to even think about going! I feel like I worked out from 2-11:00 pm straight! Almost 10 hours! There was that big thick slice of chocolate wedding cake that I managed to eat yesterday that I feel guilty about eating…so that is my main motivation to not let that cancel out all the calories I burned off working yesterday!
Everyone else is still sleeping! hahaha……at least I am up!
Okay, well all I can say is keep checking back we may post some of the pictures we got until we get a slide show up…..I hope some of the Infrared photos came out! I tried to be sure to take a few….
Be a blessing to someone today!
Love Kerri

Just listen to your body and do what it says, even if it’s “REST!!!!” Love, Gerrie
Angela’s wedding was a disappointment to me. I never really had audio and hardly any video–the picture would freeze. Hazie and I were chatting back and forth during the whole time, so that made it fun! It’s going to be another HOT day down here again. Be at peace today and REST. :heartbeat: ~Carolyn
Hey, you worked your tail off yesterday, take it easy. Dont let yourself get too overloaded. You did a great workout yesterday, and the best part is, you ENJOYED that workout. Its nice to have a job that you enjoy and get exercise doing it too. Remember, Sunday is a day of rest. REST GIRLFRIEND! Anyway, cant wait to see pics. Loves to you all………….Kimi

I love your profile picture!!!!
Take care of yourself and that foot. I know what you mean about going barefoot, I used to love it until I discovered birkenstocks. HA! I didn’t wear them in the ’60s but I do now. Can’t wait to see the photos so I’ll be going over to your website and coming back to see what you have posted here when they are all up. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful life with us.:heartbeat:
Re: vitamin D deficiency causes bone pain. I told another lady about it and she checked it out on the internet and discovered what my doctor had already told me. We can’t absorb enough vitamin D from food products. Then she got tested and is now on vitamin D replacement. My PCP told me that she’s been testing all her patients and almost without exception people are low. I think it has a lot to do with being inside so much and also the warnings against being out in the sun because of skin cancer. It’s worth checking out. It’s really made a difference in how I feel. I hope this information helps you in some way. I know what it’s like, not to feel 100%, and have genuine concern for others.
Sorry, I just got your message… I don’t check my site over the weekend, but that would have been a blast… I heard you all went to see Lake House. Hope you enjoyed… and reguarding the skin thing, nothing feels different, it just looks different… in Peace and God Bless.

Oh.. Kerri I can feel for you… I did two weddings in one day back in May.. and by the time the end of the day came.. I thought I was going to collapse…. Though it never fails… when I set out my goals I usually hit them.. and I didn’t collapse, but I was truly exhausted. Sorry to hear about your foot!! Just the luck… Looking forward to the pics!!
