Having eye surgery is scary for anybody and if you depend on your eyes for every aspect of your job it really increases…Mark just got done having an enhancement done on both eyes this morning. Some of you remember last September Mark had Lasik and PRK done. Unfortunately it caused him to trade his good up close vision for good long distance…NOT good for a photographer…sooo today he had monovision done. He has been so depressed over paying all that money last year only to get worse vision…so hopefully this will work this time!

Pray that this works for him…he is laying down and resting…

Here is a few pics of the procedure..

  • Hello gorgeous! Dropping by. Blessings and blessings and more blessings I pray over you and Mark. God be with you. Love Sara

  • I’m sure these aren’t the situations you want to be taking pictures of all the time. I will lift up a prayer for him to have fantastic vision. His eyes have brought many blessings to not only your clients but also to people like me.

  • {{{Praying}}} for Mark.  I understand the frustration.  I had Lasik and now I can’t see beans up close, but my distance is great.  I wanted perfection.

RYC, this area is where I need about 24 accountability partners.  One for ever hour in the day.  = )

  • I used to have a girl working for me as a photographer part time. The most amazing photographer i ever had work for me. When she was 14  people were consistently booking in after seeing her work with my studio name on it.

She has needed something like that though done on her eyes but has opted out. She is 27 now so given how much the technology has developed she probably made the best decision back then. I was awfully worried for her at the thought of the operation so know a little how you guys must feel.

So yes, absolutely i’ll be praying, for both of you.

  • I read the other post and looks like everything went ok and you are now on the road to seeing even better!  Thanks Kerri for your nice comments on my recent posts.  I am still hanging out in Photoshop.
