EDIT:
I meant to post these pics earlier when I put this up, but forgot.
This is an example of a before and after pic from the wedding and what you can do to add a little spice to an otherwise ordinary picture. When I looked at the pictures I took in the barrel room, I came across this one:
When editing, I was inspired to make this picture mean something special to the bride and groom as well as give them a memory of where they were married. I looked at the code the winery used on the top barrel, and added this to the bottom picture:
The secret of making the text look old is to first rasterize the text layer, and then add a Gaussian blur to it to make it look old. If you have more time, you can go to each letter and hand age them.
We shot a wedding this last Saturday with Randy – what a blast this couple was!! The setting was gorgeous – the MonteVina winery in Plymouth, California.
I just got done editing the pictures down, but I have to finish a couple other projects. I’ll get a slideshow up on this in the next few days. In the meantime, go to Randy’s site, and look at more pictures there!
We were able to get into the barrel room for some shots – i can’t wait to post those!
Randy is the master! Thank you for letting us help you with this wedding!
