BIG NEWS!!!
We went with Kelly today to her sonogram appointment. It is AMAZING what they can do and see today. We not only saw the “traditional” images, but then she switched to a 3D view – it was like you were looking right at the babies face!
Then they looked a little closer, and lo & behold they are haviing a BOY!!
Dave is so excited – her could hardly contain himself!
And here it is…..He looks just like Kelly, except he has his daddy’s mouth! At the bottom are his legs and the umbilical cord – its all kinda hard to make out, since the tech was concentrating on getting a good picture of the face.
I just can’t get over what they can do today. I guess I can accept what we can do to pictures in Photoshop, but this just seems impossible…
Kelly is only half way in her pregnancy…imagine with all this technology how you can actually bond even more!!! It’s hard to deny that is a human being baby….

BTW those are great shots to start off in the baby book! Dave must be beyond excited because few people (including me) were saying it’s a girl. I did say………it is kind of tough to tell but I was leaning toward a girl.
I was definitely leaning towards a girl because it seems EVERYBODY on xanga is having girls.

Did you hear about the controversey lately…I think on t.v. I read about it on the internet that these advanced sonograms can show an infant “walking” or moving in the womb at 12 weeks and that debunks a lot of abortion arguments. I wonder what babies look like at 4 an 8 weeks gestation. Very interesting to think about.

THOSE ARE SO KEWL!! I am so happy for you and them!! Daddy looks pretty proud in that pic! Also “grammy” looks kinda proud too!! LOL. Glad everything is going well with you all. Is there any way that I could have a copy of some of those pix? I’d love to be able to share them with others. (Do I purchase them from your other site, or are they not for sale?)
