    What a privilege!

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

     Matthew 6:6

Robert A.Cook, president of The King’s College in New York, was speaking at the Moody Bible Institute some years ago. He was saying that the day before, he had been at a gathering in Washington and had talked with Vice President George Bush. And went on to say that he later spoke briefly with President Ronald Reagan.

Then smiling broadly, Cook said, “But that’s nothing! Today, I talked with God!”

If we really understood what an amazing privilege it is that the Almighty God, Creator of heaven and earth, Ruler of all, Perfect in holiness and righteousness, the One and Only completely and totally just, loving, merciful, omnipotent and omnipresent God — calls us His children and cares for our every little need, I think we would give Him alot more time of day.

We so often fail to give God the glory He deserves! When we pray our next prayer, let’s keep in mind precisely who it is we’re talking to!

Your family in the Lord with much agape love,

I’ll be working on their pics to get a slideshow done for them, and will post it at soon as possible.

    Hey everyone!

Thank you all for your wonderful heartfelt expressions of concern! We are doing good. We forgot about our insurance so we should be covered. To take our minds off the mishap we had a family photoshoot today and were they fun! A young sweet couple with the most beautiful little glue eyed girl…we had so much fun with them! We all were pretty worn out at the end of our 2 hours with them. Mark will do his magic and put a slideshow together and then we will post it. In the meantime we will post a few photos later tonight or tomorrow… wish I had one for you but we are wiped out and gonna head to bed!

    Goodnight!

  • Our Nightmare come true…

Last night we went out to take our Family Christmas picture and one of the worst things happened…we dropped one of our best lenses…on the pavement no less!!! I can’t tell you how awful it feels to all get into the car and drive home with all the emotions grabbing at you!!! Shock…frustration…anger….sick to the stomach…inner tears…reality.

Doing better today but last night was pretty quiet around here….

Thank God for Sundays…it is a good day for a good perspective! So now we pick up and move on….we have alot to be grateful for and will not let this stress us out or let it take our joy…

    Psalm 51:12
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

    Psalm 86:4
Bring joy to your servant, for to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

    Psalm 90:14
Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

It was so cold last night that I took a few pictures and begged to go home. I wasnt dressed right for the night… So I just took pictures randomnly figuring they wouldnt turn out that great. I couldnt read my camera setttings without my glasses so there ya go! So I just put them into a collage and used Picasa which doesnt really show pictures in great quaility. I stpopped using them when I saw that my pictures were better when Mark loaded them on from his computer and a different program.

We met  up with our neices and nephew and got them hanging off a lamppost… so cute! The snow man was behind glass in a storefront. They blew soap bubbles onto the crowd from a machine…haha pretty dorky but we all loved it!

Do you guys have Christmas Tree Lightings? Next time I will remember my mittens and a hat!
