It’s my sister Lorri’s birthday lunch!!!
After we ate our lunch Lorri opened her presents…
Usually you cant get Lorri to wait till after you eat…
She really is growing up! haha
Oh apparently I am very funny!
Here she has opened the other picture…and taking a closer look.
This other picture is the picture of The Sharp Family in my previous post from the other day…
as you know if you look closely her mother in law is laughing so hard that it made us all laugh too!
Okay, lets be serious now and open Lindsay’s gift!
It is a book that Lindsay made…I mean made!
Every bit of this book was handmade!
Lorri hired Lindsay to take pics of her Christmas decorations before she took them down.
Lindsay took her camera and came back with some great images…
Lorri is suprised to see her pictures in a BOOK!
It is so satisfying to be able to make your gifts!!!
Okay so on to the desserts!!!!
This is the Churro Alamode!
And this is their Flan!!
They were both really good!!!
This is where we ate…
Okay this is our dear friend Donna, Lorri,
Kelly (my pregnant daughter-Grayson’s mommie), and me!
And here is Lindsay!…
Now on to the Chick Flick portion of the program!
We saw The Holiday…we all loved this movie!!!
It made me want to run home, throw open the door and hug and kiss my husband! I am so glad I am married!!! Happily married!!!
It was such a fun day!!!!
Happy Birthday Lorri!!

Wow, I felt like I was there with Lorri while she was opening her gifts! And what amazing gifts they were. I love the happiness in the smiles of everyone. Thanks for sharing with us! And yes, thanks for the reminder that I totally stink at blogging! I’ll be back soon. Just finishing up a big project. Oh…. and I love the Grayson’s count down of days! What a fun filled day of smiles, laughter, and fun (and those delish desserts too!) you girls had together!! Your daughter is one of the most beautiful pregnant women I’ve ever seen!! Only 40 days left!!
Looks like you had a really good time. I love being able to make gifts.
Hello, I read your comment on Kimi’s site about your diet and the supplements. I would be interested in knowing more about the diet. Thank you.
Thanks for your comment. Yes, she’s so gorgeous and glowing! It doesn’t matter what your height is…I am 5’11, but felt so swollen as if I was carrying two basketballs taped to my belly while pregnant with Dash! My sister is 6’4 and she felt the same while carrying both of her babies. May your daughter have a very healthy and swift labor and delivery!
Ah everyone does look so happy. Looks like it was a perfect day! I still want to see Lindsay’s books. Wish I could of seen them in person before she gave them away. I love making books.
BTW- great indoor shots!
What beautiful ladies!! Great shots of a fun time!!
Great post, had a big smile on my face from the beginning to end!
LUV Lindsay’s gift. Don’t know much about your daughter…how old is she? Is she an art major? Any thin gelse you want to share…?
My own daughter was frustrated this Christmas, because she didn’t have time to make as many handmade gifts this year with all her college projects.
