It’s a Dog’s Life!
Josie
Here is about 3 minutes of “the day in the life of my dog Josie”….! She is happy to be home. I had to take her to the vet the other day and she was so stressed out that she burst a blood vessel in her right eye! Told me to bring her back if it didnt look better the following day. Which I did. My daughter Kelly came with me.Josie used to be her dog. She was coming with me to see Kathy’s new puppies (previous post) and she told me that one time when Josie was a little thing she went to get her vaccinations and they broke off the needle inside her!!! No wonder she was stressed out. But folks when I got there initally to pick her up they told me it would be a few more minutes…as I am heading to the desk I hear a dog scream! It was so weird sounding but it kinda sounded like Josie so I asked, was that my dog??!!! The receptionist just didnt really answer me and fluffed it off. Didnt think much of it until later when the Dr. suddenly notices her eye as he is giving me the low down on Josie’s visit. Which was just for vaccinations. When I returned the next day to show them the eye was worse the vet got the low down from Kelly on Josie’s broken needle incident and I picked up a prescription for her eye. I don’t feel good about how she really got the broken blood vessel. I think someone knows something that happened to her but isnt saying. Anyway…I guess she will live….! I just hate that she had another bad experience! Oh nd I can’t just take her somewhere else because I signed up for their year long health plan which saved me ALOT of money!!! Gee, now I am just worried how will I ever get her into the groomers!
Anyway! Here is my sweetheart Josie….She likes to hang out under the dining room table when she has a bone so I had to get down to her level to get her 3 minutes of fame…haha
Mom must feel pretty sorry for me! I got a great bone!
Oh yeah!!!
Look at me GO!!
Okay guess I will take a rest now….
Ho hum… this is rather boring…
Oh here comes the sun….that can only mean one thing my mom and her camera!!! So I guess I will throw her a bone and pose…
Sometimes she likes to experiment with color….is this a good color for me?
What was that?!!
Oh yeah …Posing…I am supposed to be posing! Is this my good side?
No more like this…I think.
Oh that sun feels good!!!
Hey check me later when I do some real fun stuff…like getting my bath! The fun part will be watching them catch me! hahaha…
Isn’t she the cutest! I just love her to pieces!!!

Congrats. I hung onto my 10D for too long and when I switched to the 5D it was a night and day change. Becker has custom settings for the picture profiles on his site. I tweaked his further but it was a good benchmark to start with. Enjoy.
Josie is soooo cute! Next time, put a hidden camera on Josie…..
Looks like you have so much fun with your dog! btw, thanks for your most recent comment. It’s amazing to think that there’s so much more to learn and experience in photography. You mentioned the Japanese Tea Garden, we were there last Spring, but I already want to go back to take even more pictures.
:fun: Hey Josie, you and my sisters, we all need to meet sometime soon! What pretty pictures would could make together!

Oh what a life dogs lead!!
shes is quite the cute one. im sorry to hear about the shadyness relating to her injury =(
Once when a dog experiences a bad sitaution at a Vet’s office–they remember it. I had a Lab named Cashmere and something happened to her once. After that, she always had to be muzzled before I took her in for any visit. Was the prescription for Josie’s eye (blood vessel) … if it was, the Vet should have paid for it–don’t you think. Josie is a cutie…
she is cute. i loved all the pictures of her!
Josie is so cute
May take her home with me please?
she looks so loveable
Hugs

Definitely adorable ~ like her photo-phlashing-mom!
She is cute
I would not let my dog go into the room without my supervision or someone elses for sure!
She’s cute. If I don’t go with our animals to the vet, my daughter-in-law, Rachael does. She’s the vet tech, so I know she’ll take care of them.
i just love how the light hits her face
