Tornado in Florida…be thankful every day for what you have…
Some of you may know that my mother was out visiting here last week. She lives in Florida in a town called The Villages. You may also recognize that name from the news last week. It was one of the towns hit by the tornado. My mother just got back home and sent me these photo’s today.
We pray that those who lost homes and friends and family will be strengthened and comforted.
God bless them!
The Villages is a retirement community so all these homes belong to senior citizens. I understand one couple just moved into their new home the day before the tornado hit , their house is gone.
How sad is that!
Pray for them….God hears!

Small world Kerri,
I am going down to the villages next week to visit a friends church. The villages is a pretty big community but I bet if you ask her your mom she would know JO Percell. My wife and I are having dinner with him next thursday.
Blessings,
Daniel

Hi Kerri,
Those poor people, those pictures that your mother sent you are so graphic. I bet you are so glad that your mother is okay, I will pray for those people and let’s hope that they will soon have their homes restored.
Christine
that is sad! at least she wasn’t there. how is her house? where’d your mom get those pics? did she take them herself or what?
Wow………..I will pray for them. It is crazy how it all can just end. In just a two hour period. Bam it’s all gone. I will for sure pray for all the senior citizens affected.
I have a question can I use the picture of the sign “It’s a buetiful day in the villages” for a layout? Por favor.
and yes I am very uberly excited for my studio, You never know in a few years you might have to do my “mucians magazine” cover shoot
keepon a-shootin.
+Taylor+————perhaps the next bob dylan………………perhaps.

and I’ll give you a john hancock on my cds *wink wink*.
oh wow those pictures are so sad and everyone losing their homes! goodness
are any of those pics of your mother’s home? How sad! The pic that is amazing to me is the one close to the bottom of the 3 houses……..the one in the middle hardly touched and the two on either side destroyed! Crazy how tornados work. Take care and I am praying for them all! Take care and loves to ya….Kimi
How awful. What amazes me is some of the metal that’s wrapped into knots and some cars are flipped over while others are not.
I will be praying .
Wow!! I just can’t even fathom it.
Thanks for your comment regarding Wade Steffey. No new evidence. We are now operating on the assumption that he is not alive, and that whomever knows is not telling us where he is.
It’s so sad….I wish they would just call the tip line and tell his family where he is!
Hello, Kerri! Thanks for your very nice comments about the CD project!
Those pictures are very sad! But, I have to admit, every time I see the devestation a storm like that…I am filled with awe. I am very thankful that your mom is fine. Praise the Lord! I will be praying for her community.
looks like katrina images… it’s almost as if this storm needs a name too. unreal looking at these shots and knowing people lived there. the image with the “it’s a beautiful day in the villages” is a contradiction.
Oh, my……such horrible destruction. I cannot imagine being in it. I’m glad your mother is fine.
So, so sad!
Aww… they’re in my prayers. God always boomerangs stuff back on the devil when we put our trust in Him… thank God.
The destruction is so horrible.
Yes – I know the names of the places in Rome since I took the pictures and all. Some of the photos are of St. Paul’s Basillica, inside the Vatican and in the Roman ruins. Others are just random out and about photos.
How awful.
Christy
Thank you so much for sharing these images of the recent devistation in flordia. It is important to be aware of the difficulties others face and the news can be very limited this far away. You two are so fabulous continually ask for prayers for others. You have truley warm and wonderful hearts. I am glad to hear that your mom is safe! Best wishes!
Oh, the devastation is just unbelievable. Our little town was hit hard like that about 15 years ago, before we move here. I never want to know what that feels like. My mom lives in Florida, but not near any of this. My heart goes out to the people whose lives were touched by this tornado. Our thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of them. I’m so glad your mom was visiting you. How horrible that would have been for her to live through that. :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: ~ Dawn
I’m sorry to hear about your mom’s community being hit by a tornado. About 45 minutes south of where I live, there is a community that has been decimated by a couple of tornados over the years. I’m praying for your mom and those people just now.
