    Our life this week….

Wow what a whirlwind weekend! We had 2 weddings back to back this weekend and it was crazy! But it was sooo fun!! Both weddings were beautiful as I expected and both families on both sides were so great! The couples were so wonderful to work with!

Thanks Karah and Josh and Susanna and David! Cant wait to edit and present your images! Hope you are having the most wonderful time away!!!

Hey you remember that this spring we went to WPPI in Vegas for the best Photographers Convention ever!? While I was there I kept eyeing this cool booth and I recognized her as Jessica Claire and had heard she was coming out with these cool bags for us photogs. I love an entreprenuer! Well on the last day Mark finally just said, “Why dont you just get it already! lol….well I didnt really want to spend that much but hey… bags are expensive period! So why not carry one you love and reflects more of who you are!?? Soooo this is the cover I chose that best suited me. She has tons of different fabric covers to suit your style.

I finally got mine just in time for this seasons weddings!

Here is a shot of one like mine from her website

If I can find a pic of me wearing mine in our photographs I will post it up this week sometime. If you are interested in one but just cant justify the cost then this might interest you!

Jessica Claire who is the photographer/designer and inventor of this bag is offering a free one in her little contest. In her own words, “I have in my hands ONE SHOOTSAC. I am going to give it away for free to whoever sends me a photo of their rattiest, ugliest camera bag! I will pick the top ugly bags and take votes on who should get the shootsac. So send in your photos of your horrible old bag, and tell me why you need the shootsac.” Send the emails with the photos to: flamingo@shootsac.com

Big news–there’s another way to win a shootsac! BECKER is also running a contest! Go to his blog and tell him what you’d do for a shootsac and get another chance to win!

  • That’s awesome. Our family had a deaf foster child, when I was a teenager. So stories like this touch my heart. :heartbeat:

  • That’s a nice shootsac.

  • How cool! You go Chelsea!

Kerri, have you heard from Sara recently?  She hasn’t been online in forever.  I know she does this now and then, but just wondered if you’ve heard anything.

    Blessings,
    Paula

  • darn I just lost my weird camera bag!

  • Hello, I used to work at the Florida School for the deaf and blind for two years although i don’t work there anymore. I worked in a dorm with deaf children and my brother is deaf as well

  • I’m so jealous! I want a ShootSac! Looking forward to seeing pictures from your weddings this weekend. Hope they both went well for you. I’m going to be assisting a friend with a wedding this weekend so hopefully I’ll have some new pictures to post soon. I haven’t shot anything other than my boys since May 18th and I miss it!

  • :goodjob: It was great shooting with all of you on Sunday. Now I know what its like to shoot with SuperMark:fun: and his team of highly skilled Canon shooters! Can’t wait to see the slideshow from both of your weddings.

  • Thanks! Sarah Dawson shot a lot of the pictures for me wedding. She is wonderful! And I know what you mean about sign language..it gets harder if you don’t use it, just like any language. I like hanging out with my brother so I can practice signing.

  • Say James….I keep getting knocked of your site because of some plug in issue… : (   but your post was hilarious!

  • Good for Chelsea! I read the WSJ article, and it included other sites that have vlogs (besides UTube). Some of the ASL vlogs are interesting, and some on You Tube or whatever you call it are hilarious, especially the ones advertising a video relay service (the “bad” vrs services are portrayed as so bad to be hilarious!). Love to Chelsea! Love to you guys too, Gerrie
