Prayer Request….
Today I got an email from my sister that an old friend Doreen, lost her youngest son in a car accident early this morning. I cannot fathom what her day was like today and forever. He was a passenger in the car that was reportedly traveling 100 miles an hour on Greenback Blvd at 1:45 a.m. The driver lives and is in the hospital with injuries but Jonathan is gone. He was 21 years old and they believe alcohol played a part.
Please pray for Doreen and her family. His younger sister Toni is devastated. He has two older brothers whom I am sure are as well. Doreen is the kind of woman who if this happened to you she would be the first one to show up at your house and cook and clean for you. I am just so sad for them.
Edit: The funeral is on Wed. at Miller’s Funeral Home in Folsom.

I just spent 3 days on one of our wedding albums…whew! I had to learn a new album design software program so we could offer them another album option that we don’t normally offer. So glad that is just about done. Just some tweaking and its off for the client to review and get it ordered! Its always like delivering a baby!
Now onto the next one now that the favorites are picked.
Hope you are all staying cool! Its triple digits here! Blaaah!
Blessings!
Kerri

Dear Kerrie ~ That is soooo sad, but it seems that is how it always happens. The driver lives and the passenger dies. I can’t imagine what his family is enduring. I pray that the Lord will wrap His loving arms around each one and comfort them. :heartbeat: HE IS FAITHFUL. Love ~Carolyn :heartbeat:
Praying for the family. I’m so sorry…. Carolyn:heartbeat:
Oh, how sad!!!! Praying for them!!!!
love u…
That has got to be just about the most awful and painful experience of any person’s life. My heart really aches for Doreen’s family.
Yes, may our Lord gather the entire family up in His loving arms.
I will pray for the family Kerri! No parent should have to go through the death of a child. Those people are very special to God as they will be His strongest links. Hoping you have a wonderful long weekend. The weather has given us a relief here in Missouri. The AC is off for a couuple days. Love that! Time to air out the house! COME ON AUTUMN!! Love you guys! Kimi
:heartbeat:Even when I don’t know the family, my heart responds in empathy to the pain and sorrow they are facing.
To loose our child is my greatest fear..I know it is for all parents.
Right now my own daughter’s actions have been very stressful…instead of responding in anger I think I will go take her in my arms and tell her I LOVE HER :heartbeat:
I treasure the knowledge of your prayers for Doreen. She has since married since I last saw her and am trying to get her new phone number. I will tell her that you are praying for her.
Mary, I think that sometimes we have to just hug them and tell them how much we love them for something to get right in their minds. You are right many of us parents fear that happening. My mother died at 48 yrs old and her mother lived to be 100 one of the things that stands out in my memory of her life is her telling me, “no mother should ever outlive any of her kids”. I will never forget her saying that.
Thanks for everyone’s prayers…
kerri
