Aptos Photography= George and Nancy!
On our way home from Carmel we stopped at George and Nancy ‘s home in Santa Cruz. What a treat! Not only are they really just a great family but the day we had just walking around their neighborhood was so relaxing! After a very full day of shooting it was such a treat to enjoy the beauty of the area…
Here we started out on our walk to the woods…

Just love roadside mailboxes
Neighborhood horses have a birds eye view of the road….and us
This was much darker but for this post I lightened it….
Saturated to bring out some color…this is Sunshine’s barn what a nice place to live!
Shy Sunshine! Brian and I found some apples growing just out of her reach so we fed a few to her and was she HAPPY! She followed us as far as she could go then she whinnied at us! It was so sweet!
There is more but I will have to post those later…

I know how beautiful it is too,
glad you were able to visit with them:sunny:
p.s. Isn’t amazing the people that have come into our lives because of xanga!
I love the shy horse!
Mary, Yes, it is AMAZING to me too!!! I love knowing so many people from all over the world who I feel so connected to! Especially if I know I may not get to see them this side of heaven…then I hope to see them on the other side!

Gorgeous pixes…I so wish I was on that walk with you guys. Being in the countryside is my favorite place in the whole wide world. I miss those kind of walks I had in the prairies and riverways in ND.
hehe..that was great! I keep looking at the pics (both yours and mine) wishing that we didn’t have to say goodbye so soon. As soon as the worms go away you’ll HAVE to come back for a bonfire in the backyard.
That pic in the forest makes me laugh thinking about Daisy tearing around like a maniac.
I haven’t looked at Tommy’s bed yet..to see what you wrote. But darn it, I forgot to get my own guest book out for you to sign…*sigh*…hopefully, next time.:sunny:
These are positively marvelous! :sunny:
Wow… love that barn!!

I had two cameras. I hid the good one on the beach cliffside, and used a disposable Kodak Sport out in the water
To see my pictures of the same road, check out my 2nd post on May 9th 2007
Great pics!!! I love it!
Beautiful picture… Love the country lifestyle! My parents is living in their dreamy & cozy Log Cabin sitting on 5 acres property looking out mountain and beaver dam. Breathtaking!
I’m so envious… California is filled with so many amazing places! I loves these photos. Such a peaceful place to live. I’m so glad your trip was relaxing! Thanks for sharing with all of us! ~ Dawn
Jealous..love the photo of the horse looking over his stall…
