  • The Love of God is always there….

If you haven’t seen this yet you need to sit down for a few minutes and watch. It is a bit hard to see in some spots but its still worth it. I have watched it 3 times and each time my heart cheers and I get goose bumps!

    Enjoy….

  • Lucca’s Restaurant & William Land Park

This last week we had the absolute pleasure of taking engagement pictures of

    Bobbie and Brian

They are getting married next June. Since they
met at Lucca’s Restaurant in Sacramentro we decided to take them back for their engagement photos. We all had a wonderful lunch.  In fact, this first photo is the very table they sat at on their first date.

The restaurant was so accomodating when they found out that they met there – they cleared out the back patio so we could have a private lunch with them!

  • Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm

jayden’s day out at the punkin farm

Last week we got to spend a special day with Jayden and his mommy and daddy and great grandma Nonnie. It was one of those Novemberish type of days where it looked warm outside because the sky is crystal blue but it is actually chilly! I call it Thanksgiving weather. We all packed up and drove out to Wheatland and drove out to the Bishop Farm and got to watch Jayden interact with the petting zoo animals and try whip cream atop hot chocolate for the first time in his little life. He got to ride the train that circles the entire farm which is pretty large! It was an 8 minute ride with even a tunnel so all the kids screamed when it got dark…so cute! We walked around and saw the corn maze and the mountain slide and some other things but Nonnie was not having fun walking around smelling animal poop for much longer and I was developing a headache that was going to last the next 3 days…ugh! But we had fun and I plan to go back again and take Jayden so he can spend more time there. I gotta get a shot of him with some punkins for pete sake! We go to a pumpkin farm and never got one shot of him with some punkins! ack!

Anyway here is the link to see Jayden’s Day at the Pumpkin Farm!!

Oh and see if you can find our Christmas Card for this year!

  • Winchester Country Club, Meadow Vista California

    EDIT:

The slideshow wasn’t loading correctly – I’ve fixed that now!

Jenae & Paco were married at the beautiful Winchester Country Club in Meadow Vista. It was to be an outdoor ceremony on the green. But as we woke up and realized how tenuous the weather was being we prepared ourselves for an indoor affair and sure enough it was…They moved 250 people into a small conference banquet room. Tight quarters! But they managed it. It was a beautiful wedding and Jenae was just gorgeous. It is always fun to meet both sides of a family that is coming together. It was hard not to cry at the Kee-Hernandez wedding reception while they were toasting the bride and groom. Well…you’ll see!

This truly was a day to remember.

Have a wonderful life together and looking forward to designing your album!

Their wedding was at the historic Pioneer Methodist church in Auburn. What a beautiful place!

The weather was perfect, the ceremony beautiful and the reception…well you’ll just have to wait to see those pictures!

  • Croation American Culteral Center

    AMY & JOHN!!

Amy is a friend we’ve come to know through Starbuck’s, and we were excited when she asked us to capture their wedding!

She is always such a joy to be around, and when she laughs you can’t help but join in! Even though she has known John for some time we didn’t have the opportunity to meet him before they reserved us, and he is the right match for her – they make a great couple!

The Croation American Cultural Center is gorgeous, and their family was wonderful to meet.

We have a couple other weddings to edit before hers, but here is a sneak preview:

  • Its Gummi Bear time!

    Edit:  Its fixed now!

It’s a family night here – Jayden and his family are over visiting. Here is a slideshow from our visit to the Sacramento Zoo a couple weeks ago! (The song is his favorite that he has to hear everytime he comes to Grandma & Grandpa’s house…)

The weather was great that day, and it was so much fun to see Jayden’s wheel turnin’ inside his head as he was seeing new things for the first time.

He was especially captivated by the giraffe’s! So Gramma got him a smaller one to bring home…

Been working like mad on images and should have some goodies to post this next week!

We’ll post up some sneak peeks from Amy and Kristi soon, and then next up after that will be Jenae & Paco!!

Between weddings Mark has been super busy working on editing and I have been buried in album design.
Today Mark and Brian shot Amy and Roger’s wedding. Lindsay and I stayed home. Felt weird!

But I really enjoyed staying home to help care for Jayden because Jayden and Kelly stayed the night so Kelly could be closer to the Dr.’s office this morning. She had an accident at work two weeks ago where she slipped and fell in the kitchen and the glass she had in her hand broke and went into her hand. They got most of it out at the emergency room but there was one left and it was making it hard for her to work at all and to care for Jayden. After finally getting an scan to see the culprit they removed it today. What a relief! I loved waking up and seeing Jayden first thing this morning!

We promised pics of Amy and Kristi which will be coming up this weekend. Cant wait to see all these images!
    Soon soon!

Last month we had the privilege of traveling to Carmel, California to shoot the wedding of J.D. and Angela Nordberg at the La Playa Resort Hotel.

What a beautiful setting for a wedding! The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and since the wedding was only 2 blocks from the beach we managed to sneak away in the middle of the reception for some sunset pics. (We posted one up right after the weddng a few weeks ago…)

Angela & J.D. – we wish you a life long happy marriage!

    NEXT UP:

I’ll be posting a sneak pic preview from the weddings this last weekend.

After finishing up some albums then I’ll be editing the images from Jenae & Paco’s wedding at the Winchester Country Club! So stay tuned!
