  • So Jay was over today, and I finally sat down to get a shot of him I’ve been planning, but of course he would have no part of it…so here is the first attempt, and I’m sure there will be more.

Have you ever seen the movie “Joe Dirt?” Not a memorable movie unless you are a mullet fan…well there is a wig hanging around our house and when I put it on Jay the first time he just sat there and stared back at me, so of course I thought he would do the same. Well, no. Here is Jay and what inspired me for the shoot:

After that Jay got down on the floor to do one of his favorite things – play ball with the doggies! It’s been amazing to watch the development of his motor skills. He’s gone from swiping at the ball to make it move, to pushing it, and now picking it up and throwing it! Which of course means that he is Josie’s new best friend as he loves anyone who will throw his ball over and over again…

OK, that’s it from Jaydenville for today. I’m back to finish up this paperwork that keeps trying to take over my desk. Gotta get the year end reports done so I can send them off to the taxman.

P.S. Kerri looks MUCH better today. Thank you to each and every one of you who lifted her up, whether you posted a comment or not. Prayer works!!

  • Wow, it’s amazing, I haven’t seen a picture of him in a couple of months, and now he’s sitting up and playing with a ball and the dogs! I think the last one I saw was him sitting looking at the computer screen and reacting to it. Go Jayden! Love, Gerrie

  • Dear Kerri, I’ll keep praying. My sister also suffers from FM, she’ll be fine then wham, pain and fatique.

  • Awww, nothing like mullets on kids! lol

  • Beautiful child! I was hoping for a shot with the mullet in full effect … nonetheless, a beautiful child

I look forward to learning about you both as well

  • Dean: Trust me. As soon as I can get Jayden to have it on long enough there WILL be a sequal.  Dawn: Glad you caught the bling necklace on him. What’s a mullet without the accessories?

  • Hey Kerri, Thank you so much, SO MUCH, for always ALWAYS, brightening my day with such great comments on our blog. And what you wrote yesterday truly brought tears to my eyes. Sometimes, when you’re stressed and overwhelmed and you feel like screaming… (or crying) it’s so SO so nice to read words like what you wrote. I’m so glad that you are feeling better. The power of prayer is just that… POWERFUL! He will never stop ceasing to amaze me. I pray constantly for the good, for the hard times, for the thankful times, for everything! I, too, am praying for a healthier, joyful, and closer walk with Him this year too! And I LOVE the word Frangas!

I will see you at WPPI…!!!

    xoxoxxo!!!

  • Glad Kerri is better! I feel for her… I am having a real bout with my fibro too… I think it was all the holiday food I cooked and ate the processed carbs always make it ten times worse!

BTW, I just about died laughing at the “mullet”
    Love, Bee
