We were there just in time for sunset, and it was gorgeous!!
Don’t goof off when someone has a camera or you might get caught!
Lindsay and I went to a Bellies and Babies Workshop last night and was it awesome! I’ll post some of those up tomorrow….we are going to be doing more studio work as the opportunities arise. So going to this not only inspired us but kicked us in the butt to get going on it. We cant wait!
We recently posted up a picture of one of our lovely new friends Lisa who owns and operates Flower Works.biz. She does beautiful work. This is one of her creations that she brought over yesterday. It is so fun and beautiful I just had to take it downstaris and do a quick light up! Thursday next week, we are doing a mock wedding shoot at a local venue called The Flower Farm and we are shooting all the flowers that Lisa is putting together for this “wedding” so we can get some photos of her work for her website. We will be doing models, hair and make-up work as well and possibly a cake vendor as well and of course the Flower Farm. We are going to have fun!
Thanks for the flowers Lisa!
Here it is! I’ve gone through our images and this is what our week looked like. The last pictures are the ones Mark and Brian took at the “Leavin Las Vegas” seminar they did which took them out to Red Rock Canyon with some models – it was a great day!!
We posted up Mark’s images, and here are three that Brian chose:
Can you believe we have been in Vegas and haven’t posted one picture! lol!
Well it has been a whirlwind for sure out here. Classes all day long and trade show floors full of toys for photographers! It has been hard to resist wanting to buy tons of stuff! But we did get things that we needed for the business.
We did do other fun stuff in case you were wondering. Lindsay and I got to see Phantom of the Opera and it was one of the most visually stunning plays I have ever seen. Beginning with the opera house. It was so opulent as it should be for such an amazing show. I was so happy we got to go. Mark got the tickets for us since he and Brian were able to get in with the Red Rock Shoot. That is where they are right now as a matter of fact. Red Rock Canyon is about 15 miles outside of Vegas and it really is beautiful. We took a a scouting trip out there when we first got here, since we arrived 2 days early. Glad we did it was a beautiful drive. A local photographer friend Chris Stewart ( see 2 posts below) flew in yesterday to join up with the group. I dropped them all off at the The Paris Hotel about 2 hrs ago. Remembering that I got to see P of the O helped to ease the jealousy that I couldnt go. Wahhh! lol There were alot of shoots and parties and stuff so this trip has been tiring. I am posting this and putting the last of the suitcases and stuff into the car so we can check out at noon. Then Lindsay and I have a few hours to walk around the strip abefore we meet up with the crew when they come back. Then off to eat lunch and head to Bakersfield for our hotel there for the night then the last push home tomorrow. Maybe I will find another kittiy on our way home! lol
I have missed my Jayden like crazy!!!!! I cant wait to pick that little guy up and give him a great big kiss from Grandma!
Hope you all have had a wonderful week and I will be by sometime later when we get settled back home and we get some images up….
God blessings!
Kerri
