  • John & Amy’s Wedding at the Croation-American Cultural Center in Sacramento

Amy and John were married last year at the beautiful Croation-American cultural center in Sacramento. Her album is finished and ready to be printed in Italy by GraphiStudio!

  • Danielle & Mike will be married this June at La Provence Restaurant in Roseville, California!

Last week we had fun with Danielle & Mike as they took us up to Loomis for their engagement session. What a blast!

Mike grew up in the Loomis area so we walked around the downtown area, and then he took us up to Griffith Quarry in Penryn. What a beautiful park!

(If you think you recognize Danielle, she was in David & Susanna’s wedding last year at Empire Mine State Park.)

Their wedding will be in June in Roseville:

  • Flower Farm Vendor Photo shoot!

FOR BEST RESULTS, PRESS YOUR F11 KEY TO HIDE THE MENU’S AND MAKE SURE YOUR SPEAKERS ARE ON.

What a day we had on Thursday! We got to meet a few local businesses while shooting for our friends at the Flower Farm in Loomis and , FlowerWorks. We met Esther from Divine Desserts as well as Kelly O’Conner-Peterson of Generations Hair Salon who stood in as our maid of honor and Taryn Blackburn (Makeup artist) who stood in as our bride. We also got to meet and work with Lisa’s daughter Jessica.

The day was a blast but it was like 4 photo shoots in one day!!

First we did shots of the Flower Farm, then product shots of all the amazing flowers that Lisa of FlowerWorks brought out. Then after a short break for lunch Kelly, Taryn & Jessica were our models for the next couple hours as we took various shots of them with the different bridal bouquets for Lisa.

Then the guys came along! Kelly’s hisband Jared and Randy who stood in as the groom. After another very short break to catch our breath we headed off to walk around The Flower Farm with everyone for shots with all of them. They were all tired and ready to go when we were done with that but we still had one more session to go! Our daughter Kelly and her husband Dave arrived and we walked the property again with them while Lindsay and Brian took care of Jayden. Of course they had to take pictures of him while doing so.

    What a day!!
And a shout out to Taryn for being so gracious while being sick! What a trooper!!!

Next up will be the slideshow from our engagement session with Emily & T.J. that Brian is editing! Keep watching this blog!

  • Flower Farm, FlowerWorks, Divine Desserts and David B. Collections Shoot

Its almost 2 am and I have slept almost 5 hrs already I woke up to a dead phone beeping at me from the other side of the bed. I woke up not knowing what the heck that sound was! Of course it did not disturb Mark one bit. So I dutifully wake him up. He figures it out and I put it on the cradle and take the one out that was there. I tty to go back to sleep but it starts beeping again! So, apparantly when he plugged in the heating pad for me so I could sleep he unplugged the base…SO, he rolls over like a good husband and up I go to put the phone on the base in the kitchen to charge it up but I have two phones in my hand which one was it??? Now, neither of them decide to beep. It was a cruel game!! I stand there for quite some time waiting waitng waiting but nothing. So I put one on the charger and it says charging, I think AH! just as the one in my hand goes off!! PShhh…I put it on the base and head for the refrgerator because now I realize that I am STARVING! All I see are 3 plates of desserts that Esther made for our shoot today. AHHHH!!! I had to make a decision! Do I eat one of these delectable little platefuls of deliciousness or do I find something else? Okay so I chose the least offending calorie ladened one. The fruit tart. I just ate the fruit and some of the whipped cream. Then of all things I had to wash it down with I cracked a Diet Coke! It is such a good thing that 2 weeks into the Weight Watchers program I noticed that my constant heart burn was gone! If I tried to go to sleep after that snack I would be hurtin for certain!

So now that I am up I must tell you we had a full day today! Four seperate shoots if you will.
A product shoot for Esther the “cake lady” who brought the little midnight snack I just had as well as a cake for Lisa from FlowerWorks.biz to decorate with her flowers. As well as another cake with her frosting design so we could show off her stuff.
Lisa brought an amazing array of flowers. Centerpieces, bouquets, and boutaineers as well as a spray for the arch at the mock wedding site. I will post up Esther’s business info when I have her card in front of me for any of you potential brides.

The Flower Farm gave us free reign of their property and we took advantage of every corner we could find. So, we got venue shots for them with bridal parties and without.
The models got their shots. Taryn and Kelly did hair and make up and modeled as well as Jessica. Taryn was our bride and Kelly and Jessica were the bridesmaids. Kelly’s husband Jared stood in as a groomsman and Randy stood in as the groom. We did lots of bridal portraits and bridesmaids inside the reception area that served as our STUDIO then traveled outside to get the wedding party shots and individual shots all over the grounds. We finished up around 4:30 and they left around 5.
Then on to shoot number 3 and 4. Our daughter Kelly and our son in law, Dave. We did a product shoot for Dave’s jewelry that he designed and wore for us. He also brought his own designer suit jacket that he created to use with his jewlery. So we shot another set of bridals and wedding photos along with the product shoot.

When we finished we were going to head out to dinner. But, when we got everything broken down, packed and cleaned up after ourselves  I began to realize that I had the worst backache and didnt think I could sit in a chair in a restaurant and enjoy my food so we cancelled and went home. I  took two aspirin and got into the massage chair, Lindsay my sweetheart daughter made me a Weight Watchers conscious dinner while I watched Gordon Ramsey rip apart a restaraunt and headed to bed at 9 pm. The guys unpacked the van and put everything away and had dinner and headed to bed too. Right now my body actually feels much better after the chair, the heating pad, the aspirin and some sleep. But I am going to need to get back to it so I am not falling asleep tomorrow.I have an album to finish!

I wish I could post even one picture but they are downloading yet. Mark will put up some pics tomorrow, I am sure!

    What a day!!! Good Night!!!

    Kerri

P.S. Randy, we would love to crash SF with you and the models but we got a ton of photos to edit and an album to get done. So sweet of you to ask us along. Have fun!
