This is just messed up!!
Kerri found this today and sent it to me – this is just an embarassment for all wedding photograpers.
Click here for a short video of how NOT to be a wedding photographer…
As a photographer we know that it is your day, not ours and the last thing we should be doing is drawing attention to ourselves in anyway. That is why we bring not only multiple photographers but the best in camera gear so we can be discreet and still capture what happens during the wedding ceremony.

wow, that was annoying.
hahahaha…maybe they wanted that??? idk…but yea, that was horrible, talk about gettin’ close up and personal to your subjects…geeeez, yea i only do that to my friends…and they think i’m taking a pic of their nose! lol…little do they know, it was a macro of their blackheads and nosehairs!!!
didn’t I see another video like that on YouTube?
Geez I hope he spends some of that money on a longer lens. And with the leftover, buys himself a clue.
ya gotta love wedding photographers. hahaha
those pesky wedding photographers!
ps: you could embed that video in your blog! I just did it! :fun: :fun: :fun:
oh brother…that’s ridiculous. The scary thing is…that might not have been the couple’s hired photographer..he was probably just a guest. At least he wasn’t using a cell phone…gotta give him that much. But jeans? At a wedding? He should call his business Cheap Shot Photography.
@mommyfish - Yeah, or call himself ”Cheap Skate Photography” and get himself a pair of skates! Ugh those jeans! What an idiot! Probably his first wedding if not he probably isnt working anymore!
@lelandwong - hehehe….you rock!
@eleephoto - no wonder we are all on such a tight tope at the local church
@Launate - hahaha and a pair of nice pants!
@dimsom - LOL or should I say ROTFMOL!
@kennyahn - annoying and aggravating and unbelievable and stupid!!! ha just had a few choice words myself….lol
@lydellphoto -
LoL…yea you got it =OP
Mark & Kerri, the new site looks really good. Nice new look on the blog as well. I’m moving my blog to http://www.jeffmasonphoto.com/blog. It was time to move on. Building a new site on Showit Sites. http://www.jeffmasonphoto.com/site_html It’s a work in progress. DJ, Todd and crew are doing a good job of keeping up with the bugs and rolling out new features frequently. I see you guys have been busy. Nice! I have been as well, just need to get the work posted. -Jeff
Hi Kerri and Mark,

Thanks Christine! It is embarrassing as a photographer to see stuff like that but then again I think every profession has their embarrassing “caught on tape” moments….

@FLJeffM -

Nah we prefer to use the long lenses! :spinning:
@Launate -
Ha! Yeah!! You are right about the other video. That one was probably the one where there were a few of them and they were buzzing around like bees and the music they used was flight of the bumble bee I think. Also one of them dropped a lens hood and it made some noise during the ceremony. It was so distracting!

No, the one I was thinking of was the one guy who was right in the middle of the aisle, blocking the view for the groom’s mother. What an idiot!
I almost sort of hope that it was a spoof of what not to do! But I guess that’s just a pipe dream. :0
