I just love this spot and this private moment between them after being pronounced man and wife…
This is why we always try to get our couples out at sunset…I know everyone is tired and hungry and want to get back to their guests but who would want to miss a sunset like this for their album or their wall??!!
When we met Jeff & Carrie and their families here in our studio last year we were amazed at how much love this family has for each other. We were really looking forward to shooting their wedding and meeting the “rest of the family”. They are so down to earth and fun and we just felt a real warmth with them. Their wedding finally arrived last weekend. We were excited to finally shoot them AND to be back at one of our favorite venues, The Flower Farm Inn. I always wonder what the wedding day of our bride and grooms will look like. I cant wait to see the dress and of course the SHOES! When Carrie told me she was wearing red shoes I about fell on the floor I had been wanting to shoot some red shoes…Now I am looking forward to seeing their slideshow and then get to work on their album!

And I read about your bikes….when we used to visit Spence’s parents in Roseville
we always took our bikes along. You have so many wonderful bike trails to explore in that area…have fun!
@sayJames - thanks! we had alot of time with them in the beginning of the day but as the day wore on we had to work quickly! SO these shots were a hurry up group but I think they turned out nicely.
@saphoto - hey stephen! When are we gonna meet up! We went to the Sac Bride and Groom mixer tonight at La Provance in Roseville. *It was fun! I was hoping to see you there. Maybe sometime soon??

yah you know, believe it or not im not networked with anyone here not because i dont want to its because i dont have time haha. man, i missed a good event. i work a 40hr week full time job too. been working real hard to get my wedding photography to be my main source of income and its moving along pretty well but im juggling both right now haha (crazy eh?). yah, it would be nice to meet you both in person. perhaps next time or when there is another event. ive actually never been to a wppi either yet, yah i know im bad hahahah. just havent had the chance.

@saphoto - I know exactly what you mean. We havent been able to make these things either. We went to one meeting early on. But nothing until last night. Didnt know anyone except some of the DJ’s we have worked with. But we left having met a nice group of people…
I hope you can get to completely move into the photography full time. You are amazing at it. WPPI is fun but expensive for us with 4 of us. SO we may opt out this year and go next year. Not sure what we will do.
I do hope we can meet sometime tho.

@joyfulphotography - Thanks!!!Yes, busy is the word! I love my bike even tho a couple of weeks ago it dumped me on the sidewalk and scraped my knee pretty good and I think I bruised a rib as well. I got back on my bike and rode all the way to my Weight-Watchers class anyway…lol.

@christineguthrie - Hi Christine!! THank you and yes I will post it when I get it done. We are still editing those photos so it will be a while till we get to the choices of photos for the album and then designing it. I will try to remember to let you know when it is up. I miss my bike! It has been finally cooling off here as we enter out fall I hope to be able to get out much more.
