What a glorious day and such a fun group of people that came together on Sat.the 20th of September to witness TJ and Emily’s wedding!
AvioWinery was the perfect spot for them. This vineyard is located in Amador County and about an hour drive from Sacramento.
I cant wait for the slideshows to go up when we finish a wedding there is always so much that happens and I love seeing the day unfold again. When you see the upcoming slideshow for TJ and Emily you will see the cowboy funky room where the bride got ready and the vineyards as well as the gorgeous view where they stood and said their vows. The reception that followed, the flowers, and the food were just amazing. I dont have the caterer’s inormation but I will add it when I find it. Our friend Lisa from
FlowerWorks put together the most beautiful flowers for TJ and Emily.
We are so blessed to have the most wonderful couples and as always wish them a blessed journey as they grow together in their marriages.

:sunny:Just drove past that house today and saw a small sign and knew that name sounded familur. I can’t wait to see the web show. It was hot up in them hills today!
@Borelfoto - me too! It was HOT in downtown Sac today~
Oooh, these are lovely as usual. I hope when you’re schedule clears….maybe y’all could come visit us at the beach?! *sigh* Or maybe we could stop by in late October..we’ll hopefully be headed to Lake Tahoe for a few days.
What a beautiful set of images!!! I especially love the 1st one. Will you be attending the PPE show in NY? I’d love to finally sit down with you both and have our breakfast!!!! Hugs to you all…. xoxoxoxoxo ~ Dawn :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat:
@mommyfish - Hi Nancy!!!! I am so up for an October Tahoe shootout!! We should be freed up for a couple of days at then end of Oct. we will be winding up albums and editing the last of our weddings and other shoots but we will certainly take a weekend to rest up!!! Would love to come and visit you at the beach, too!! Maybe November sometime? Hows the beach in Nov. in your neck of the woods? Lets do some off camera lighting and a model!
@lastoriafoto - NY would be so fun but we just dont have it in the budget this year. Some dentist around here is going to be very happy when we come in the door. 8 wisdom teeth (2 20 somethings…our kids are at that age) , braces, and bridges, oh my! I think we should just do a barter with a dentist and call it even!! haha….I really would love to sit down and have breakfast lunch, or dinner ,coffee, tea or whatever! We will….one day!! I am so behind in visiting I was so glad to see someone come by since I have cobwebs hanging our site!! Thanks for not holding it against me!!!
These are beautiful!!! How was your birthday???? Love ya, Me
Hi Charlotte! Thank you ….my birthday was very laid back which is how I wanted it. :fun: After shooting this wedding the last thing I wanted to do was drive back to the foothills to spend the night at our timeshare. I wanted to collapse. We had a nice breakfast out with Dave and Kelly and JJ then I came home and read a bit on the deck but that didnt last long as the sun lulled me to sleep. So, I went with it and just napped away. :sleepy: Mark got us tickets for Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick for my birthday and that is happening tonight. We leave in a few hours. But gotta get home relatively early so we can be on our game for tomorrow’s weddding.
Have a great weekend!!! I cant wait till we have our off season! Wohoo!
I love that wide shot by the pool!
Definitely barter with your dentist. My dentist actually just brought up the idea of me taking shots for them in exchange for payment of some dental work. I’m all for it….=)
@backlightphoto - WHOHOO!!!! That’s awesome that you get to do that with your dentist! Yes that is my favorite of the three! How are you guys? I cant wait to stop by everyones sites after this weekend! Our last wedding until November… : )
Hi Kerri,
Hey, thank you so much for your nice comments, I was so pleased that you both have the same preoccupation with light as I do,
I’m always aware of the light, everywhere I go. I love these images, and the lighting in them, and my favourite is
that first image, it’s just stunning. I agree entirely, I think we all need to constantly experiment with light, especially light off the camera.
Have a great weekend, and I hope you get that rain soon.
Christine
