That scripture was part of our pastor’s sermon this morning :goodjob:
:goodjob:Great photo! We can only HOPE that tomorrow will not have any mistakes in it, but there is always me making mistakes, saying the wrong things, doing before praying, etc. etc.
Straining forward…aint that the truth! Come on 2009, I’m ready for ya’
@Borelfoto - We all make mistakes everyday but it takes an action of growing and trying not to repeat and learning from our mistakes that we strive for. We cant feel badly for our mistakes and then continue to do them. We have to change what we are used to doing for what we are striving for. That does take prayer because we cannot do anything good apart from Him. When we see a hero or someone doing something wonderful for others, that is God in us. Our default is always going to be the hard road full of pitfalls and sin. But thank God that He loves us anyway and in spite of our situation. Thank God that Jesus came and took our place or we would be up a creek with no paddle and no way to overcome the chasm between eternal life in heaven or eternal life in hell…it is only through His sacrifice that we can enter into a perfect heaven.
@SingingMom - Thats cool! When that happens I think God must be speaking to me from all directions…how cool is that?!
That’s a great picture. Love the texture and color. And the bible verse makes it perfect!
