We spent a fun Saturday teaching a class on photography at David Girard Vineyards…
We had such a fun afternoon with some great people on Saturday.
We not only had a beautiful day, but a gorgeous venue to shoot at! Once we spent some time talking about Composition and Lighting and techniques and showed some examples from our own work he have done, everyone spread out and spent an hour taking photos and having lunch. We have to say Judy at David Girard made sure we had a very nice boxed lunch which was more gourmet than a box lunch you typically think of. It was prepared by Dedrick’s Deli. We look forward to checking them out sometime again! Here is Mark in action, and those who attended the class. What a great bunch of people! We look forward to the next class. It looks like we will be doing 3 more to round out the seasons at DGV.
Spring promises to be beautiful! But for this class we captured “winter at the vineyard”…
Looking forward to our next class!!

I love the shot of the vineyard with all the rays (wide angle lens?) — and the second reflection shot and the fountain. Looks like a neat spot for a class — and perhaps for some ’24′s’.
I like the pics of the trees reflected in the water.
how cool for you guys!
oooo lovely =) :sunny:

Reflections are one of my favorite things to shoot. Anytime I see water I try to get our couples over there.

We will be up in the Seattle/Skyhomish/Bothell area mid April for about a week! Any chance we might be close enough for a visit/class?
Good to see you both doing so well! Love your pictures like always.
