Sick and Staying in today…
EDIT: Kenny Ahn you are awesome!!!! Kenny just sent me images of Mexico and now I have all 6 that I needed!!! Yay!!! Kenny we are looking forward to meeting you down south this weekend too!!!
Hey we are laying low…taking a slow day…sore throats and such…… Mark actually slept in today…we spent hours and hours on a recent wedding album design so we are wiped….
Gearing up for a trip to LA this weekend for this workshop!
We are excited to be meeting Bob Davis (Lastoria) and Scott Robert Lim as well as the people at GraphiStudios ~ Canon ~ Calumet and I guess Apple too…? hahaha….

I also want to say that these people are really wonderful giving people…I couldnt do justice to try to tell all they have done in their lives but I can say they both stepped up to help me with an upcoming very important banquet that my sister Lorri and I get to do every year. We have been the decorating committee along with two other wonderful ladies Pam Hopper and Mimi Cole. Together we came up with this year’s decorating theme to conincide with the overall theme of the evening. “All Are Precious in His Sight”….so apart from decorating the tables the lobby and platform…we asked for and received some beautiful images from both Bob and Dawn Davis and Scott Robert to display as vignettes around the room, so that we will have conversational pieces that will get the room up and about. When I asked for help they literally opened up their vault and let me go through and pick some of their travel images that they had. I also received some from Corey Polis and Kaitlin (who offered her friend Meg Summeral’s image) both from OSP Open Source Photo which is an on line photography board that we love!!!
I have some beautiful images that will set the night off! My thanks to all of them!
I am still looking for a hi res sharp images of children from Mexico….a child or children. If you have some great images of kids laughing or smiling and can tell they are from Mexico I would love to hear from you…. email it to office@lydellphoto.com

I wil pray for you and Marks health (and anyone who is sick) so you all are READY AND RARIN to go this weekend! I wish I lived in CA so I’d join up with ya’all and it’d be like a “xanga reunion” LOL.
BTW—I’m selling canon EF lens if you want to take a look over on my blog. They aren’t anything special. I’ve posted this on other photographers blogs….I am willing to tradie for a Wacom 9 X12 tablet if one has an extra one handy or CS 1 or CS 2 … that I am ABLE to register with Adobe. I really found out my source of frustration is the editing in elements (doing each photo ONE at a time instead of actions) and the pain in my arm/wrist from the repititive clicks of my mouse. Ouch!
Anyway, besides that—-I’m curious. What is the banquet for? Is it to help people or children?

:sunny: Hey Kerri, yes I should be there by then. I hope that I will be leaving here by the first of February if my house is sold by then. I should have it on the market by the first of December. Pray for me that my house will sell quickly. Duane will be here the 14th of November and he will be doing some repairs on my house getting it ready to sell. So hopefully I will get to see you when you come to Vegas, that would be wonderful!!!!:yes:

I am sorry you are sick! Hope you guys get better by this weekend so you have a nice trip. You are going to love the seminar and have so much fun! How did your bride like her album. It was so awesome! I am sure she loved it. Me and Andrew would have stayed but I didn’t want to interrupt that moment with the bride. Me and Andrew are headed up to Tahoe this Saturday to photograph a wedding. We are taking Andrew’s friend Sammy to help and I am doing her senior portraits up there on Sunday. So I am going to call you on Monday to hear all about your weekend. Get some rest and talk to you soon. BTW, yes I am up late again (night shift schedule).
