  • Christmas 2008!

This years Christmas was relaxing and fun. With our kids being older there isn’t that usual Christmas morning frenzy. We slept in, and then opened our presents. After that Kelly, Dave and Jayden came over so we could have breakfast together and open presents with them.

Then we relaxed (translated: took a nap) and went over to Ron & Donna, (Kerri’s brother) to enjoy dinner with them and our close friends the Johns.

We visited and ate so many snacks we thought we wouldn’t be hungry, but when the food came out….

Donna put on an excellent spread and we all stuffed ourselves. Then we moved on to our White Elephant gift exchange! Everyone was told to bring something that they didn’t need and might consider donating to charity,  so the selection was fun! There were a couple gifts that were hits and were stolen through the game.

One of the funnier parts was that Brian picked a package that had a camera! It was a small spy camera, and was soooo cool Lindsay didn’t hesitate when her turn was up – she marched right over and grabbed it.

The evening ended with a rousing game of CatchPhrase – one of our family favorites!

The picture at the end is of all of us displaying our white elephants!

    How was your Christmas?

  • Looks like you had a fantastic Christmas! Can’t wait to see your New Years photos. LOL!!! Ha… I laughed when I read your Facebook comment about Mark loving his Wii. So do all the boys in my house. We all have such a great time laughing our butts off with it. Bowling is about the only game I can play and beat my 11 year old son. My mom and I played the darts game and almost pee’d our pants laughing so hard at each other. Same with air hockey. It’s so silly stupid it’s ridiculous! LOL!!!! I’m so glad you all had such a blessed Christmas!!!! Much love to the Lydell family! ~ Dawn

Yeah, stay tunes for New Years – we’re spending a special New Years eve out on the town and can’t wait to post up some of those pics.

I do love the Wii. We have the Sports Pack with Baseball, Bowling, Golf, etc. Darts and Air Hockey sound fun – what game pack is that one in?

It’s Game Party… but truly it’s not a good game. It’s silly stupid… that’s the only way I can describe it. It’s so silly you laugh your butt off but I don’t recommend it because it’s not that good of a game. I know that sounds weird. I don’t know how else to describe it. I can tell you that Guitar Hero will entertain your family beyond belief!!!!!!! And if you get it… you need to get another guitar so you have two. Once you learn how to play, it’s hours of fun!!!!

  • HAHAHAHA WHOOOOOA!!! LoL…what a dramatic Christmas slideshow HAHAHA. Looks like a lot of fun, and you finally a Wii now!!! YAY!!!
