Its Gummi Bear time!
Edit: Its fixed now!
It’s a family night here – Jayden and his family are over visiting. Here is a slideshow from our visit to the Sacramento Zoo a couple weeks ago! (The song is his favorite that he has to hear everytime he comes to Grandma & Grandpa’s house…)
The weather was great that day, and it was so much fun to see Jayden’s wheel turnin’ inside his head as he was seeing new things for the first time.
He was especially captivated by the giraffe’s! So Gramma got him a smaller one to bring home…
Been working like mad on images and should have some goodies to post this next week!
We’ll post up some sneak peeks from Amy and Kristi soon, and then next up after that will be Jenae & Paco!!

We are soooo tired!!! But its a good tired…
we are blessed to have so much work to do! : )
Between weddings Mark has been super busy working on editing and I have been buried in album design.
Today Mark and Brian shot Amy and Roger’s wedding. Lindsay and I stayed home. Felt weird!
But I really enjoyed staying home to help care for Jayden because Jayden and Kelly stayed the night so Kelly could be closer to the Dr.’s office this morning. She had an accident at work two weeks ago where she slipped and fell in the kitchen and the glass she had in her hand broke and went into her hand. They got most of it out at the emergency room but there was one left and it was making it hard for her to work at all and to care for Jayden. After finally getting an scan to see the culprit they removed it today. What a relief! I loved waking up and seeing Jayden first thing this morning!
We promised pics of Amy and Kristi which will be coming up this weekend. Cant wait to see all these images!
Soon soon!

Last month we had the privilege of traveling to Carmel, California to shoot the wedding of J.D. and Angela Nordberg at the La Playa Resort Hotel.
What a beautiful setting for a wedding! The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and since the wedding was only 2 blocks from the beach we managed to sneak away in the middle of the reception for some sunset pics. (We posted one up right after the weddng a few weeks ago…)
Angela & J.D. – we wish you a life long happy marriage!
NEXT UP:
I’ll be posting a sneak pic preview from the weddings this last weekend.
After finishing up some albums then I’ll be editing the images from Jenae & Paco’s wedding at the Winchester Country Club! So stay tuned!

Two Rockin Weddings… first on deck is the Croatian American Cultural Center in Sacramento
Friday night we shot Amy and John Ping’s wedding and we had a blast! Amy and John we enjoyed your laid back personalities and loved meeting your Iowa folk. As I have relatives there it made for great dinner conversation. Loved meeting your parents and how awesome to see all the Starbucks gang again!! You guys not only make great coffee but you make beautiful brides. Sarai, Audra, and Amy you are SO BEAUTIFUL!!!
Thank you so much for trusting us with your wedding day
If you are a bride looking for a beautiful venue and outstanding food you should check out the Croation-American Cultural Center in Sacramento!
We will try to post up a sneak preview tomorrow. We are so tired from doing 2 weddings this weekend. We dont like doing that but its so hard to turn down when you feel a connection with them! We’ll be all rested up by tomrrow and then it will be all hands on deck for Angela and JD’s Carmel Wedding slideshow! It seems like ages ago!
See ya tomorrow!

Every newlywed should read this wonderful article!
This is an excellent article that I ran across in an email just now. I really thought it was worth posting so here ya go.
I wish I had read something like this when I first got married. Mark and I have been married 27 years now and the first few years were definitely fraught with these situations. What a great gift to be able to recognize some of those things that undermine relationships in the beginning!
Here is a link and an excerpt.
Newlywed Ambush
Uncover two secret saboteurs of your happiness.
Tom and Laura came to see us just nine months after their wedding. They had swallowed the happily-ever-after sugar pill whole and were now feeling queasy.
“Before we got married we couldn’t bear to be apart,” Laura said. “I thought we’d do even more things together once we were married. But now Tom says he needs more space. It’s like he’s not the guy I married.”

See ya on Monday….just finishing up the Todd album and waiting for Mark to finish editing Angela and JD’s beautiful Carmel wedding so we can get a slideshow going.

The Flower Farm Inn, Loomis, California
Evan & Audra Miller!
After many cups of coffee and a very late night we finished up Evan & Audra’s slideshow this afternoon. Boy do I feel a nap coming on. lol…
Everything about that day was beautiful! The bride was gorgeous, the settng was stunning, and the weather was great and lots of love and family!
Evan is such a great match for Audra - I was so moved watching him before the ceremony when he was helping Kaedyn get ready for the wedding. He was so patient, so kind and so loving.
There is no doubt that Evan will be a great father!
Audra was a very calm bride as she waited for her wedding hour to approach. Lindsay and I loved hanging out with her and Jen. What a joy to witness a bride preparing herself for her wedding day.
Evan & Audra, we were so blessed to be part of your day!

It’s Nancy’s (mommyfish) Birthday today!
H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y!!!!
It’s Mommyfish’s Birthday today!!!
Nancy, we wish you the very best Birthday today and for the whole year long!
I hope you all find your way over there to say Hi and Happy Birthday!
(pics taken a few weeks ago while visiting them after our Carmel Wedding.)
The bank of trees with the lens flare is right outside their house! So cool! Their dog Daisy was such a super cool doggie. He ran and ran with us as we took our wonderful walk around George and Nancy’s house. What a blessing they have living where they do! It jsut does something to your soul to be in such a beautiful place! I wish I could get some of that after every wedding! haha…
We didnt get a shot of George because he was at work…
We set the camera on the back of Nancy’s car on timer to get this…bummer its a bit dark.

Do you have a twin somewhere?
You know how they say that somewhere in the world you have a twin? After our wedding in Carmel, we went to the beach the next morning to relax. When we went to the beach we looked at the people sitting in front of us, and saw Josie’s twin! Well at least when she was this age…
Meet Rosie!
We had fun meeting Rosie and her parents!
Here’s Josie!
I wish I could find the pictures of her when we first got her. She has lost all the black and gray markings she had, and actually grew alot bigger once she moved in with us. Its funny, she was full grown when we got her but she was small like Rosie. Then when she moved in with us she slowly began growing bigger. I wonder if it was enviromental factors that she grew bigger. When she lived at Kelly’s she lived with a miniature pincher…tiny guy and she was crate trained in a small crate. Then she moved in with us and is Sydney-size (our terrier other dog) who is the size Josie is now and doesnt even fit that crate at all anymore and actually sleeps in our King Size bed with us now….weird huh? Anyway she posed for this when we were setting up our studio so she wasnt bathed or brushed but that is pretty much how she looks most of the time anyway.
Hope you are enjoying the fall weather!

Winchester Country Club in Meadow Vista, California
Jenae & Paco
Winchester Country Club in Meadow Vista, California.
The link to their engagement show is at the left
Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate this weekend so the ceremony was tucked inside one of their ballrooms. The weather cleared later , so they still had their reception in the tent outdoors, which was gorgeous!
The families were just so much fun – each of them had several brothers, and the parents were very sweet. It was great to see the blending of the two families where there is so much love for each other.
Only had time to select a few to post….more later
We’re busy working on the images for the past few weddings, so slideshows will be going up as they get done…
